She also presents Piano Wellness Seminars by herself throughout the year to professional piano organizations as well as universities. In 1996, Manwarren was awarded a Teacher Enrichment Grant from the Music Teachers National Association for the purpose of studying at the French Piano Institute in Paris, where he had the opportunity to coach with Dominique Merlet, Pascal Devoyon, and Noel Lee. In 2016 Aaron became the Artistic Director of the Zia Singers, an all-female community chorus that has been singing in Santa Fe for over 20 years. She has performed numerous times throughout Israel and the Middle East, organizing choirs and concert tours as well as performing with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

Her major research areas include twentieth century music, history of music theory, opera, and music theory pedagogy.

Montoya currently studies piano with Sheila Paige, founder and executive director of The Piano Wellness Seminar, where he is also a member of the faculty, and maintains a busy schedule teaching and performing.
